Meet the Founders
Welcome to Host, a groundbreaking co-working space designed exclusively for hairdressers. Co-founded by Sarah Louise Keane and Peter Tobolski, Host is a unique blend of a traditional salon and an innovative educational and events space, tailored to the needs of self-employed hair professionals.
Sarah Louise Keane, an experienced hairdresser and educator, understands the challenges of working independently. With a passion for empowering hairdressers, Sarah created Host to not only offer a flexible workspace but also provide professional development, education, and a sense of community for like-minded professionals. Her mission is to help hairdressers grow their businesses and refine their craft in an environment that feels like home.
Peter Tobolski’s extensive career in the hairdressing industry spans over 40 years. A hairdresser by trade, Peter co-owned a successful chain of salons before transitioning into product distribution, where he brought leading brands such as K18 and Blonde Solutions to the UK market. Frustrated by the lack of professional venues for hosting branded events, he saw an opportunity to create something different.
Partnering with Sarah, Peter helped shape Host into a space where hairdressers, brands, and educators could connect and collaborate in a professional environment.
Together, Sarah and Peter have built Host as a space where hairdressers can thrive - whether through hands-on education, creative collaboration, or growing their business. Their combined experience and shared vision make Host the go-to space for independent hair professionals looking to elevate their careers.

Our aim is to propel the hairdressing industry forward by blending traditional salon space with an education space. The two run side-by-side, allowing for an education class or product launch to take place simultaneously as hairdressers tend to their clients in the salon area. This dynamic environment aims to inspire and motivate the self-employed hairdressers within our space to push themselves toward independent growth and expansion.
